Many travelers have passed and asked the question, "With what inspiration was TheHub formed?", and I answered with none. This in itself bid me to receive many questionable looks thus I shall describe why I say "none".So I am here now telling the tale of a land far away where magic was not a dream and where anything was possible. Long before time began there was a dwarven King called (Lord) Krassus. Through legends long ago it is said that he had saved the world from an evil and undead legion but had not been able to destroy it. The undead, you see, are bodies with no soul. They are dead creatures controlled by magic to walk in the realm of the living and to complete deeds of evil nature. Lord Krassus, it is said, could not completely destroy the presence but could bury it away for eternity. Although the undead are magically powerful and contain huge numbers they cannot cross moving water. As a result of this Krassus had forces the undead armies across a land bridge onto an island where th could not escape. The land bridge was then destroyed and the evil forgotten. Many years later there was a young leader name Hargo who had grown up with much of his life hidden from him. All he knew was from what his older brother Hackeirro had told him. Hackeirro was much like Hargo, however, there was much that remained undefined about him which made him separate from the rest of the townsfolk. Early in their childhood Hackeirro had vanished never again to be seen until a dark evil formed amongst the southern lands. Hargo eventually became the leader of his town and was widely known as a stern but overall "good" person, however, his brother had been forgotten much like the armies of the dead. One day a darkness began to grow in the far and distant southern lands the legends say of the Minotaur's and the barbarians. This darkness began to grow and infect all life around it as it began to swarm the lands heading farther and farther north. Lord Krassus, however, had reason to believe that Hackeirro was somehow involved in this new threat. Hargo, being Hackeirro's brother, took initiative and traveled to an old evil looking castle which has stood long abandoned long before history where he though Hackeirro dwelt. After long travels he found that Hackeirro had in fact dwelt there and was also involved with this evil, however Hargo was unable to stop him at the time. Eventually Hackeirro formed a dwelling for himself far to the south in a separate island which had an evil past. At this point he was powerful enough with magic to rebuild the land bridge between the main lands and the long forgotten undead armies. From here Hargo made an oath to defeat his sorcerer brother in his plans to use the undead armies to dominate the mainland where the last of good survived. Through long travels and many obstacles Hargo managed to collect artifacts of a magical armor along with a magical sword which he planned to use against Hackeirro's magic. While Hargo and a group of friends were traveling the southern lands surrounded by the constant threat of evil Lord Krassus in his almighty castle White Haven were being sieged by the evil undead armies of the necromancer. This was the turning point for Hackeirro's plans. Lord Krassus had been defeated and his castle White Haven left in ruins. With the death of Lord Krassus the Barbarian armies from the south began to move. They began to storm all of the villages which were previously guarded by Lord Krassus's Royal Knights. The undead armies were growing in numbers and power and Hackeirro was becoming a more powerful sorcerer than ever imagined. After many long years and hardship Hargo found Hackeirro and challenged him. Although at this point Hackeirro wasn't much unlike a God. He easily fought with magic around Hargo's artifacts and was slowly defeating him when suddenly a huge black dragon created by Hackeirro to protect him turned under the influence of the undead. It attempted to kill Hackeirro but failed, however, it was enough to give Hargo a lucky hit which killed mortally wounded Hackeirro. However, another turn of the coin Hackeirro's magic had protected him from death permanently which meant that he could never be killed. In return Hargo decided to bury him in an old underground temple which now mainly lived in legends where he could not escape much like what Krassus had done to the undead armies many years before. As it was the threat of the undead armies still existed but were weakened at this great loss. This gave Hargo a chance to form an army from what was left of the destroyed villages and fight back against the evil. After many years of war the undead armies were once again pushed back across a land bridge onto the island in which they derived and were sealed off for as long as anyone can remember. For many years after Hargo ruled in the rebuilt White Haven where happiness thrived and evil was forgotten. However Hargo's deeds had become legends and eventually were almost entirely forgotten through time save 1 man. There was a powerful archwizard who's magic was far more powerful than that of Hackeirro's who used magic to keep himself alive after all theses years. He was and is powerful enough to evade everyone's worst enemy, time, which allow's me, Archzanus, to tell you the tale which will be passed down through generations never to be forgotten again from time. This is the purpose of TheHub. To remember those who fought against evil to preserve the natural and the good. I shall finish the tale with an answer to the question originally posed and I say "none". With no inspiration did I tell the tale for it is truth. There was a dark evil and a hero named Hargo. There was a dwarven king named Lord Krassus of White Haven and there was Hackeirro. And still, Hackeirro lies buried in an ancient tomb and the knowledge of its location which only I posses can still be uncovered by a young explorer. The undead armies of the north are still trapped on the island formed the Lord Krassus himself. May these legend not be forgotten because when they were last time good was caught by surprise and was almost destroyed. So now I welcome you to TheHub and bid you good travels so that you may return someday and remember the times where Hargo traveled the lands to fight an evil sorcerer and where magic did not only exist in dreams...
